Basic information for visitors
Airport Piešťany will host the biggest aviation event in Slovakia, the 3rd National Aviation Days, which will be held between 13 and 14 June 2009. Both days will feature a similar programme, however, changes to the programme may occur. The airport will be open for the public on Saturday and Sunday from 08.00, with flight demonstrations starting at 11.00. The programme will finish at 16.30. Tickets for one day will cost 6 €, and discount tickets will be 2 €. No tickets will be available in advance. A shuttle bus will be operating between Railway Station Piešťany and Piešťany Airport. Those driving to the airport will be able to park there for a parking fee of 3 €.
Accreditation of journalists: All media representatives as well as photographers will be able to pick up their accreditation for the 3rd National Slovak Air Days on Saturday 13th June and Sunday 14th June directly in the check-in center at Piestany Airport. In order to obtain the accreditation all media representatives are kindly asked to present their valid press card or written confirmation of cooperation with media with the official stamp and signed by the editor in chief.
